After a delightful breakfast, you'll explore the colonial Coyocan district, south of the capital. Your exploration of Mexico City begins with a sightseeing tour of its vibrant center, including Zocalo Square, the nation's political heart, the majestic cathedral, and the Presidential Palace, home to the famous wall paintings by the celebrated Mexican artist Diego Rivera. You will also travel along Paseo de la Reforma, a stunning avenue adorned with numerous significant monuments and landmarks. The journey then continues to the enigmatic Teotihuacan, an ancient and awe-inspiring cult center known for the sheer scale and grandeur of its architecture. Theories suggest that Teotihuacan's early inhabitants possessed a profound understanding of cosmic energy, reflected in the precise alignment of its structures with the sun, moon, and stars, a concept seemingly supported by the city's strict geometric layout. After an airport transfer, you'll take a flight to Merida (local flight not included). Upon arrival, enjoy a sightseeing tour of this colonial city. Highlights include the impressive Cathedral, the Town Hall, the Governor's House, Independence Square, and the venerable Cathedral of San Ildefonso. You'll also see Paseo de Montejo, famous for its elegant white mansions. Your accommodation will be at a Hacienda.

This morning, you will visit the majestic Uxmal, a site steeped in local legends. Explore the fascinating Pyramid of the Wizard, rumored to have been built in a single night, along with other key landmarks such as the intricate Ruler's Palace, the unique House of Turtles, and the impressive Convent. In the afternoon, your journey takes you to the Celestun Biosphere Reserve, renowned for its stunning population of pink flamingos. You'll enjoy a boat trip through the area's distinctive mangrove forests, leading you to a vibrant colony of flamingos in their characteristic pink plumage. Observe these elegant birds as they gracefully wade through the shallow waters or take flight against the sky, offering incredible photo opportunities. The reserve is also home to a variety of other captivating wildlife, promising an unforgettable immersion into the lush natural beauty of the Yucatan Peninsula.

Following breakfast, you will journey to Chichen Itza, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Prepare to be amazed by the grandeur of the Kukulkan Pyramid, the Temple of the Warriors, the immense Pok-ta-Pok ball court, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Observatory, and the city's other remarkable structures. Afterwards, you'll have the opportunity to swim in a crystal-clear cenote, experiencing the refreshing and potentially healing waters of this natural underground pool. Finally, you will be transferred to a hotel located on the coast.
