Upon arrival at Casablanca airport, your driver/guide will greet you with a sign displaying your name and transfer you to your hotel for the night in Casablanca. Welcome to Morocco!
After breakfast at your Casablanca hotel, you'll embark on a city tour of both Casablanca and Rabat. In Casablanca, you'll visit key sites such as the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace, Mohammed V Square, the Anfa residential area, and the impressive Hassan II Mosque. The journey then continues to Rabat for a city tour that includes the Royal Palace (Mechouar), the Kasbah Oudaya, the Mohammed V Mausoleum, and the Hassan Tower. You will spend the night at a hotel in Rabat.
After breakfast at your Rabat hotel, you'll journey towards Fez, making a significant stop to explore the remarkable Roman ruins of Volubilis. This UNESCO World Heritage site gained international recognition as a filming location for Martin Scorsese's "The Last Temptation of Christ." You'll discover fascinating Roman ruins adorned with beautiful mosaics and colorful tiles illustrating Roman mythology. The extensive site reveals fragments of walls, massive columns, capitals, the basilica, and a triumphal arch.Continuing to Meknes, your tour begins at the grand Bab Mansour gate. You'll then enter Place El-Hedime, the Square of Ruins, which connects the medina and the Kasbah. This square is bordered by modern buildings and a covered food market. You'll also see the mosque, Menzah pavilion, courtyard, kitchen, and Hammam.Lunch will be at a local restaurant (not included). The afternoon will be at your leisure in Fez. You will spend the night at a hotel in Fez.
After breakfast at your Fez hotel, you'll dedicate the entire day to exploring Fez, the spiritual heart of Morocco. Your guided tour will take you through the medieval Medina, including visits to the Attarine and Bou Inania Medersas (Islamic schools), the Nejjarine fountain, and the Karaouine Mosque. In the afternoon, you'll discover Fez Jdid (New Fez). You will spend another night at your hotel in Fez.
After breakfast at your Fez hotel, you'll depart for the Merzouga camp. Your journey takes you through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains and cedar woods, passing by Ifrane, a delightful ski resort, and Azrou, a significant handicraft center. You'll continue towards Erfoud via Errachidia and the Ziz valley, a region characterized by its numerous palm trees and the location of Erfoud's annual festival. Finally, you'll arrive at the Merzouga camp for dinner and your overnight stay amidst the desert landscape.
After breakfast at the Merzouga camp, you'll depart for Ouarzazate. Your journey will take you to Rissani, a holy city where Moulay Ali Cherif, an ancestor of the Alaouite dynasty, is buried. You'll visit the 17th-century Kasbah and the Ksar Abbar ruins before continuing to Tinghir via the Tinjdad road. Here, you'll explore the magnificent Todgha Gorges, where towering rocks reach an impressive height of 250 meters. The drive to Ouarzazate continues along the Road of 1000 Kasbahs and through the Dades Valley, renowned for its roses and the annual Moussem (rose festival). Upon arrival in Ouarzazate, you'll have dinner and an overnight stay at your hotel.
After breakfast at your Ouarzazate hotel, you'll visit the exterior of the Kasbahs of Taourirt and Tiffeltout, culminating in a visit to the remarkable Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. This spectacular fortress in southern Morocco has served as a backdrop for numerous films, including 'Lawrence of Arabia'. You'll have lunch at a restaurant with a terrace offering views of the Kasbah (not included). Following lunch, you'll depart for Marrakech, crossing the Tizin'Tichka pass which presents breathtaking landscapes in the heart of the Atlas Mountains. You will spend the night at a hotel in Marrakech.
After breakfast at your Marrakech hotel, you'll dedicate the entire day to exploring Marrakech, the second oldest Imperial city, also known as the Pearl of the South. Founded by the Almoravides in the late 11th century, your historical sightseeing will include the serene Menara gardens, the magnificent Bahia Palace, and the iconic Koutoubia Mosque. You'll also immerse yourself in the vibrant souks and handicraft quarters, showcasing a wide array of goods, and experience the lively atmosphere of the famous Djemaa El Fna square with its continuous entertainment. You will spend another night at your hotel in Marrakech.
After breakfast at your Marrakech hotel, you will be transferred to Casablanca airport for your departure flight. The pick-up time will be arranged based on your specific flight details.
