Itinerary

Arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Darjeeling (approx. 75 km, 3 hours)

Your journey begins with a warm welcome upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra International Airport (IXB). From there, you'll be transferred to the charming hill station of Darjeeling (6,950 ft). After checking into your hotel, the remainder of the day is free for you to unwind before an overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling - Full Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

Darjeeling Sightseeing: Begin your day with an early morning (4:00 AM, subject to permit/token availability) visit to Tiger Hill for sunrise views. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Later, starting at 8:30 AM, explore the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park (closed Thursdays), Tenzing Rock Ropeway, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (closed Sundays), Tea Garden (outer view), and the Japanese Temple. The evening is free for shopping or leisure. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

Darjeeling to Kalimpong - Local Sightseeing (approx. 77 km, 6.5 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Kalimpong (4,091 ft / 55 km / approx. 2.5 hours). Upon arrival, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a half-day tour of Kalimpong, visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Golf Course, Durpin Dara Hills, and Pine View Nursery (closed on Sundays). Overnight stay in Kalimpong.

Kalimpong to Gangtok - Half Day Local Sightseeing (approx. 108 km, 7 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Gangtok (5,500 ft / 78 km / approx. 3 hours). Upon arrival and check-in, enjoy a half-day city tour of Gangtok. You will visit the Flower Show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre (closed on Sundays and 1st & 3rd Saturdays), Institute of Tibetology (closed on Sundays), Dro-dul Chorten, and Banjakhri Falls (tour duration: approx. 3-4 hours). Overnight stay in Gangtok.

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (approx. 53 km, 3 hours one-way)

After breakfast at the hotel, embark on a full-day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft / 37 km / approx. 2 hours from Gangtok) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft / 16 km / approx. 1 hour further from Tsomgo Lake). In the evening, return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Departure from Gangtok to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport (approx. 128 km, 5 hours)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and be transferred to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or Bagdogra International Airport (IXB) for your onward journey.
